Theo Litaay is currently undertaking a PhD through the CRC for National Plant Biosecurity, which he is conducting through Charles Darwin University. Theo is also a lecturer at Satya Wacana University, Indonesia.

Theo has enjoyed the opportunity to work at a foreign school as it has helped him develop his own activities, for instance being exposed to the clinical legal education process in the Ateneo de Manila School of Law.
