Mrs Christine Campbell, Director

Mrs Campbell has been on the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Research Centre for National Plant Biosecurity since July 2005

Mrs Campbell is a Director with the Twynam Agricultural Group.  The Twynam Group is based in New South Wales.  Twynam's agricultural interests are both in dryland and irrigated farming, principally producing beef, wool, cereals, rice and cotton.

Mrs Campbell has had 30 years experience in both financial and corporate management in the Australian Agricultural, Resource, Manufacturing and Investment Industries.  She has been a member of CPA Australia since 1969 and a Fellow since 1990.

  • September 1999 - August 2005 Director of Cotton Australia Limited, the peak organisation representing cotton growers.
  • August 2001 - August 2003 Chairman of Cotton Australia Limited.
  • May 2002 - June 2004 Member of the Executive Committee of the National Farmers' Federation (NFF).
  • November 2002 - August 2005 Chairman of the Australian Cotton Industry Council (ACIC).
  • March 2004 - September 2005 Chairman of the International Cotton Advisory Committee's (ICAC) Private Sector Advisory Panel (PSAP).
  • June 2004 - June 2005 Member of the Policy Council of the National Farmers' Federation (NFF).
  • June 2005 - August 2006 Chair of the NFF Water Taskforce.
