The CRCNPB would like to thank Dr Paul De Barro for all his work associated with the CRC over the past six years as Program Leader from the Preparedness and Prevention Research Program.

During June 2011, Rachel Meldrum represented the CRCNPB at the Ninth Australian Banana Industry Congress. Rachel presented her PhD research project on Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cubense tropical race 4 (Foc TR4), a disease of great importance to Australian banana growers.
