Scott Baxter

My name is Scott Baxter and my role at CRC for National Plant Biosecurity is Finance and Contracts Coordinator.

I am originally from Parkes, NSW and the thing I miss the most is the friendly and relaxed country lifestyle.

Living in Canberra is full of opportunities for my family, although housing is much more expensive than Parkes.

My favourite or ideal holiday destination is the Gold Coast because that is where Rachel and I had our honeymoon and we love going back there with our family.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf, and visiting family and friends.

My favourite movie is anything James Bond because of the Aston Martin cars and Omega watches.

At the moment I am reading Understanding Company Law by Lipman and Herzberg.

If money was no option, I would have a Riviera 70 foot luxury yacht (and a nice home on the canal so I can moor my boat).

A quality I would most like to be remembered for is, being able to provide for my two children, Jorja and Preston (and hopefully for being a great Dad).
