CRCNPB staff members recently took part in two days of team building, which included a planning workshop for the Plant Biosecurity Cooperative Research Centre, a pirate murder mystery and an Amazing Race style treasure hunt around Canberra.
Everyone ensured they were in the spirit of the pirate evening, with some fabulous costumes from our mateys, aaaarghhhh.
The highlight of the treasure hunt (besides a couple of people turning green from eating meal worms) was opening the treasure chest. We would have been only the fourth company in 2011 to fail to break the code, so thankfully we managed to crack it on our third and final attempt!

Excitement builds as the treasure hunt is about to begin.
Dave has some fun with the signalling challenge.
Andrew struggles through morning tea, much to the delight of his colleagues....
Professor Lovett – complete with halo – and his team think they will finish number one.
We did it! The treasure chest is open, revealing our trophy.
