Congratulations Nichole Hammond and husband Brad, who have had their first child, Charlotte Elana May.

Charlotte arrived on 22 November, weighing 3.33kgs (7lb 5oz).

Nichole and Charlotte are both doing well.

Congratulations Alejandra Cano (Administration Officer) and Nathan Van Steenbeek on the birth of their first child, Mia Jayne Van Steenbeek, who was born on 2 October 2011. Mother and daughter are both doing well.

Congratulations also to PhD student Brain Garms and his wife Rebecca, who have had their second child, Benjamin John Garms. Benjamin was born on 4 October 2011.

The CRCNPB sends its best wishes (and hope for a few peaceful nights) to both families.
