Jane Moran

Jane MoranI am originally from London and the thing I miss the most is I was nine when we left so I don't miss anything.

Living in Melbourne is fantastic as there is always something new to discover.

My favourite or ideal holiday destination is a lonely beach and a large holiday house full of friends and family because it soothes the soul.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading and gardening.

My favourite movie is A Big Country because it champions a quiet style of leadership and Gregory Peck is a legend.

At the moment I am reading Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver, the lead characters are a wildlife biologist and an entomologist, not your usual fictional choices.

If money was no option, I would start a company that produced low cost, energy efficient, sustainable homes for the disadvantaged and I would hire a maid - I hate housework.

A quality I would most like to be remembered for is doing the right thing.
