Gonzalez

L. Felipe Gonzalez is a Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the Australian Research Centre for Aerospace Automation (ARCAA). He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Felipe completed his PhD on Multidisciplinary Design Optimization methods for UAV systems at The University of Sydney in 2005. Felipe joined ARCAA in 2006 and has directed his attention to enabling technologies for flight control and optimization of civilian UAVs systems. He has worked on developing the autonomous UAVs.

Felipe’s research with the CRCNPB will contribute to and improve the understandings of flying spores traps. Felipe has a background in Aerospace research and has been studying the multidisciplinary design optimization and operations of UAV since 2001. In addition, he has been a chief investigator and coordinated research programs while at the University of Sydney and Queensland University of Technology. Felipe’s current interests include the development and integration of remote sensing and air sampling devices on manned and unmanned aircraft.
