Abstract  

Root Knot Nematodes (RKN) are microscopic roundworms of the genus Meloidogyne which infect a wide range of crop plants and inflict severe damage to susceptible plants. With damage thresholds of 1- 2 nematode(s) per gram of soil, M. incognita is one of the most destructive species of RKN worldwide.
