My interest in this field relates to aphid diagnostics and slide preparation.

I have been working in the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia (DAFWA) Entomology Diagnostics unit for three years doing identification work for Quarantine Western Australia and helping to curate the insect reference collection. I am currently concentrating on updating and expanding our slide mounted aphid collection, hopefully in the next few years it will be one of the best in Australia. 

I am currently studying my Honours with the Cooperative Research Centre for National Plant Biosecurity CRC60145: Assessment of Uroleucon sonchi on lettuce in Western Australia (Hons)
